This resin detail set from SBS Model in 1:48 scale contains two pilot seats without a seat harness for the German Messerschmitt Bf-109 fighter. It is not an aircraft model but a cockpit accessory for the base kit, which replaces the plastic seat by a truer resin rendering.
The Messerschmitt Bf-109 was a German fighter of the Second World War and one of the most heavily produced fighters in history. A seat without a harness lets the modeler add his own belts from photo-etch or foil to suit the particular variant and scene.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the seat in the period interior shade and add the seat harness separately as you need it.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
