An add-on set of exhausts from Quickboost for a model of the German Bf 109F fighter in 1:48 scale. It replaces the exhaust stubs that emerge along both sides of the engine cowling. It is a small thing that stays in view on a finished model all the time: it lies in the line of sight, the darkest place on the whole aircraft is around it, and the eye notices it sooner than many a more involved accessory.
The Bf 109 in the F version, nicknamed Friedrich, was the aerodynamically cleanest form of the whole line. It was given rounded wing tips, a deeper and more smoothly shaped nose and tail surfaces freed of external struts. It was powered by a twelve-cylinder V engine mounted inverted, thanks to which the exhaust stubs run along the sides of the cowling in a lengthwise row. It was precisely from them that dark streaks of exhaust gases trailed back along the fuselage in flight, clearly visible in period photographs.
For the builder who wants to move a model on in one quick step and does not feel like long work with small parts. Dry-fit the parts on your model first and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
A set of replacement parts is supplied. The model, the paints and the glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
