This set of color three-dimensional decals on decal paper details the cockpit of a Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 model in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for a plastic model. The decals have genuine raised relief, so the instrument panel and the side consoles look three-dimensional and legible. It is based on the dimensions of the Eduard kit.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G, nicknamed the Gustav, was with its DB 605 engine the most numerously built version of the type. The G-6 was distinguished by the characteristic fairings over the fuselage weapons and became one of the most widespread variants.
Cut the parts out, dip them briefly and transfer them onto the surface like ordinary decals; the relief adapts to the shape. In one respect they differ from ordinary decals: do not use a decal softener, because it would attack the printed resin. Painting the interior by hand falls away; a light shading and a matte varnish are enough. Fit the belts once the main parts have dried.
This is an accessory, not a model on its own. The Eduard base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
