This resin detail set contains more accurately cast position (navigation) lights for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter. It is intended as an upgrade for Bf 109G-6 models in 1:48 scale and is supplied as a stand-alone accessory, not as an aircraft kit.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of this German fighter of the Second World War. The position lights on the wings and fuselage are small but eye-catching features, and replacing them with properly sprayed translucent parts noticeably brings the finished model to life.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them off the casting blocks and sand the mating surfaces with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The lights come into their own once backed with silver and covered with clear paints in the matching shades.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
