The Messerschmitt Bf 109G was the most widely built version of the German fighter of the Second World War. The machines deployed in the Mediterranean and North Africa received a tropical dust filter over the air intake, which protected the Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine from swirling sand. The filter is a conspicuous recognition feature of the tropical Gustavs.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend a filler primer before painting. Protect your airways while sanding.
