Colored 3D decals for the cockpit of the Boston together with American belts. Eduard SPACE 1:48 Boston III/US DB-7B w/ US seatbelts raises the interior with no photo-etched work.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package combines two elements. The first are 3D decals for the instrument panel and the side walls, printed in color and with real depth, so that on a model they look like raised instruments. The second are photo-etched steel belts, here in the American pattern – Eduard issued a separate item for the British pattern, so it is worth choosing according to the aircraft you are building.
The designation DB-7B was carried by the export variant of the twin-engine bomber, ordered originally by France and, after its fall, taken over by the British under the name Boston III. Compared with the earlier series it had more powerful engines, a larger fuel load and better armor. Bostons proved themselves on low-level attacks over occupied Europe and over North Africa; later the same airframe in American service carried the designation A-20 Havoc.
Prepare the surface under the decal smooth and glossy; a rough surface is the most common cause of unsightly edges. Place the decal wet and align it with a brush, not with a finger. Do not use a decal softener, though; it would attack the printed resin of the decal. The steel belts can be shaped by hand, they hold a fold and do not spring back.
The delivery consists of the decals and the photo-etched belts; the plastic parts come from the kit.
