This is not an aircraft model but a set of color 3D decals on decal paper for detailing the interior of the cockpit. They are raised, fully colored details printed on backing paper which slide into place after a brief soak: the instrument panels, the side panels and the controls take on a three-dimensional, faithful look without laborious painting. This is the smaller (basic) version of the set, aimed at the main cockpit panels. The set is intended for Bristol Beaufort Mk.I models in 1:48 scale.

The real subject

The Bristol Beaufort was a British twin-engined torpedo and bomber aircraft that served in the Second World War above all with Coastal Command in attacks on shipping. Its roomy crew stations offer plenty of instruments and panels, and 3D decals give them a realistic look in color.

Use

• Give the surface under the parts a gloss coat (Future, Klear, Tamiya X-22): the parts have no adhesive layer of their own and will not hold on a matte surface
• Soak the cut-out part in lukewarm water for about fifteen seconds and slide it off the backing paper into place; on complex shapes a drop of super glue helps
• Suitable for Bristol Beaufort Mk.I models in the matching scale
• Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as their chemistry attacks the printed resin and destroys the part
