1:48 Bristol Beaufort Mk.I British roundels airbrush mask is a set of spraying masks from MH models for spraying British circular national insignia onto a model of the Beaufort Mk.I.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive spraying masks for applying British circular national insignia to a model in 1:48 scale. A roundel is made up of several concentric circles, and it is precisely there that a decal shows the most, because its carrier film shows through on matte camouflage. A sprayed insignia does not have that drawback, it lies directly in the paint and during weathering it behaves just like the surrounding surface. It is an accessory to a model, not a kit of the aircraft.
The Bristol Beaufort Mk.I was a British twin-engine torpedo bomber with radial Bristol Taurus engines, derived in design from the Blenheim light bomber. It served above all with RAF Coastal Command for attacks on shipping targets, for minelaying and for patrol flights over the sea.
Degrease the surface of the model and let the base coat cure. Transfer the mask with tweezers and press the edges down thoroughly. With a multi-color roundel you work in layers: the lighter shades first, then the darker ones, with a sufficient pause between them and with the individual rings seated accurately. Spray thin coats from a short distance and perpendicular to the surface, so that the paint does not seep under the edge. Take the mask off soon after it has dried, put any inaccuracies right with a brush and finally unify the model with a clear varnish.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
