On real aircraft, FOD covers are fitted over the engine air intakes on the ground, so that foreign objects cannot get into them. This is not a model of the aircraft but a detail accessory for a ground scene.
Intake covers fitted give a model standing on the ground a realistic parked look and are a rewarding detail for dioramas with an aircraft at rest. They often carry inscriptions or warning markings.
Wash the release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and sand them down, and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a primer before painting; they are typically finished in a striking warning color.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
