Pre-cut self-adhesive masks for both sides of the glazing of the Buccaneer S.2C and S.2D in 1:48 scale from Art Scale, cut for the Airfix kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of pre-cut self-adhesive masks for the British Blackburn Buccaneer carrier strike aircraft in the S.2C and S.2D versions in 1:48 scale. According to their designation the masks are intended for both sides of the glazing and are cut for the Airfix kit. Masking the frames from the inside as well as the outside is what makes the cockpit look right after painting even when seen through the glass.
The Blackburn Buccaneer was a twin-engine carrier strike aircraft designed to reach its target at low level and high speed. It was exceptionally strong, so that it could stand flying through turbulent air just above the waves, and it became one of the most distinctive British combat types of the second half of the twentieth century. The S.2C and S.2D versions served with the navy.
Mask the glazing before you close up the fuselage, while it is still easy to handle. Press the masks down with a toothpick so that no paint seeps under them. Spray the inner sides of the frames in the interior color and only then, once it has dried, the outer camouflage; the transition then looks right from the inside as well. Lift the masks shortly after the paint has dried.
This is an accessory for a kit and does not contain the model itself. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
