1:48 Douglas A-1H Skyraider LööKplus is an extended Eduard accessory set for a model of the piston attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. A bundle of accessories for a kit, not a model of the aircraft.

The plus form means a greater extent than with the basic set of the LööK range. That one concentrates on the cockpit and the instrument panel, while the plus bundle is put together so as to cover more places on the model at once. The advantage is practical: instead of hunting down several separate accessories you buy one whole and divide it up according to the phases of the build.
The center of gravity remains the pilot's cockpit, that is the instrument panel and the area around the seat. The extent of the bundle, however, is aimed beyond it as well. On the Skyraider there is plenty to improve: the aircraft has a large engine section with a radial engine, massive landing gear and a row of pylons under the wing, that is exactly the areas where added detail tells.
The A-1H Skyraider was a single-engined piston attack aircraft with an exceptionally long loiter time over the battlefield and a great load capacity on its stores. It came about at the end of the Second World War, but it did its main service substantially later, when it proved itself precisely by its ability to stay in the area for a long time and to carry heavy armament. For a modeler it is a rewarding type with a striking fuselage shape and a large cockpit.
Proceed in the order that matches the build of the model. Deal with the cockpit first, because once the fuselage halves are joined there is no access to it. Try every part dry, modify the plastic gradually and rather less than more. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue, and the gel variant will give time for correction. On a piston aircraft it pays to give attention to how a detail follows on from the surrounding surface as well, so that a new part does not look like a foreign element stuck on. Do not overspray the parts finished in color with a thick layer of varnish.
It is an accessory set for a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
