The set brings a complete fit of exhaust manifolds for models of the DB-7B Boston III light bomber. The parts are made by direct 3D printing from resin, which gives them a crisply readable texture and thin outlet rims that a plastic molding cannot reach.
The exhausts go in place of the original plastic parts and lift the level of the finished model straight away. The fine surface takes paint and dark weathering washes very well, so hot metal and burnt deposits stand out.
Before building, carefully separate the parts from the print supports, wash off the residue and degrease them. They are bonded with super glue; we recommend a coat of primer and then shading with pigments.
