While the introductory variant manages the exterior, this set goes all the way. It adds the inner sides of the glazed areas and further tiny items, so the frames stand out even when looking into the cockpit and not a trace of the exterior shade gets inside.
The crew consisted of the pilot, the navigator and the gunners, who sat close beside one another in the glazed nose. The arrangement improved communication between them, but night operations were paid for with reflections and glare. The solution was bold for the designers of the time and differed in many ways from long-range reconnaissance machines. Machines of this type flew over England during the retaliatory raids and over the Mediterranean, and they were among the few German bombers in which the glazed area really was the dominant element of the shape.
Stick the inner masks on before you close the cockpit up. Then spray the interior shade on the frames, let it dry and only then build the fuselage together. The outer sheets come in only before the covering coat, and it is good to check beforehand that no corner has stayed lifted. Leave the removal until the paint is firm but not yet overaged.
This is not a kit. In the package there are only the self-adhesive cutouts for masking.
