Quickboost Do 217N-1 propellers 1:48 is a resin detail set of replacement propellers for models of the Do 217N-1 night fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is NOT an aircraft kit but a resin detail accessory. It offers accurately cast propellers with a faithful blade shape and fine relief on the hub that replace the simplified kit parts and raise the realism of a model of the Dornier Do 217N-1 night fighter.
The Dornier Do 217N was the night fighter derivative of the Do 217 bomber, powered by liquid-cooled engines. The propellers are a visually exposed feature on which the accuracy of the blade shape tells on the overall impression of a model.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Line the propeller blades up in one plane; sand with respiratory protection. It is worth evening out the shade of the metal and colored surfaces with an airbrush.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
