This resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Aires refines the cockpit of a model of the North American F-100F Super Sabre in its early form, in 1:48 scale. The F-100F is the two-seat version of the Super Sabre, so the set covers the layout of two seats one behind the other, the instrument panels and the side consoles. It is an accessory for a kit, not an airplane model in its own right.
The North American F-100 Super Sabre was the first American production fighter able to reach supersonic speed in level flight, and it belonged to the so-called Century Series. The two-seat F-100F variant served for training and on combat tasks. The early forms differed from the later versions in cockpit details, which is why Aires offers the early and the late version separately.
Before gluing, wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). It is best to paint the interior before the fuselage is closed. Sand resin with your airways protected.
This is a resin accessory for experienced modelers, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
