This item belongs to the LööKplus range, that is among the accessory sets that go further than a standalone instrument panel. What the customer gets is a pack meant for one particular model in 1:48 scale and for one particular version of the real subject. It is not a kit - the plastic aircraft model has to be had separately, and the accessories are built into it during the build rather than at the end.
The F-104S version operated by the Italian Air Force went through a weapon-system upgrade in the 1980s that carried the abbreviation ASA. It was mainly a matter of changes to the avionics and the equipment of the machine; from the modeler's point of view they show up chiefly in the cockpit and in small external details. The Starfighter itself remained typically recognizable - a slender fuselage, a very short wing with a sharp leading edge and the horizontal tail surfaces set high up.
Before you reach for the glue, go through the kit instructions and note which parts you have to replace before the fuselage is closed up. With accessory bundles that is the commonest source of trouble - some of the work can be done at any time, some only in a narrow window at the start. Try the mating surfaces dry and adjust them in small steps. Use cyanoacrylate glue in the smallest possible amount on the small parts, ideally applied on the tip of a wire. The Starfighter has smooth glossy surfaces on which every unevenness shows, so give attention to sanding the seams and to a sound base coat.
The set is an accessory to a model, not an aircraft kit. The base model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
