1:48 F-106A Delta Dart, double-sided stencils for the Revell kit. The canopy framing dealt with from outside and from inside.
Responsibility details are not available.
The double-sided form of the painting stencils for the clear parts of the F-106A. They follow the shape of the glazing of the Revell kit. A form for the Trumpeter kit exists separately and the shapes differ between them, so it is a good idea to compare which box you have at home.
The Delta Dart entered units at the end of the 1950s and stayed in active service exceptionally long, with the squadrons of the National Guard until the end of the 1980s. It was never exported and spent its whole life patrolling over home territory. In 1959 a world speed record was set on it, and part of the retired airframes later finished their service as target drones. The pilots nicknamed it simply the Six and considered it one of the most pleasant machines of its day.
For modelers who want to open the cockpit and show the interior without the frame staying transparently bare from inside. It will serve just as well with the canopy closed, because the inner side of the frames is noticeable through the glazing. It also saves a good deal of time that would otherwise go on cutting shapes with a scalpel.
