A set of photo-etched parts from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for refining the exterior of a model of the American McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle fighter in the MSIP II standard in 1:48 scale. The photo-etched metal parts add the thin exterior items such as reinforcing panels, grilles, blanking covers and the frames of the formation lights, which injection-molded plastic cannot render faithfully. It is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory; the base kit has to be obtained separately.
The McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle is an American twin-engine air superiority fighter. The F-15C version is single-seat and under the MSIP II program it went through an upgrade of its avionics and systems. It is among the most successful fighters of its era.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife and clean up the cut faces. Use a bending tool or a straight edge to bend them. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and degrease the areas before painting.
This is a detail accessory, not a model. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
