Resin F-16C Fighting Falcon exhaust nozzle (1:48): a resin replacement nozzle with faithful detail for a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin detail set intended for a faithful rendering of the exhaust nozzle of a model of the American F-16C Fighting Falcon multirole fighter in 1:48 scale, covering the Block 30/40/50/60 standards. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory that replaces the simplified nozzle from a plastic kit with crisply cast parts with rendered petals, interior structure and sintered surfaces. The nozzle is one of the exposed places on a model and a faithful replacement lifts the overall impression of the tail considerably.
The General Dynamics (later Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon is one of the most widespread multirole fighters in the world. The single-seat F-16C standards differed between blocks in their engine among other things, and depending on whether General Electric or Pratt & Whitney engines were used, the shape and the division of the exhaust nozzle differ too, which is exactly what you see at the tail of the aircraft.
First wash the parts to remove mold release residue and only then glue and paint them. Cut off the casting blocks carefully with a saw and sand the cut surfaces. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate): ordinary cement for plastic does not hold on resin. For a faithful look the nozzle is painted in metallic shades with transitions into burnt metal. Sand wet and protect your airways.
This is a resin accessory, not a model or a stand-alone kit. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
