An injection-molded plastic kit of the single-seat General Dynamics/Lockheed Martin F-16C multirole fighter of a later block in 1:48 scale. The package holds plastic parts, a clear canopy part, decals and building instructions. The assembled model measures around thirty centimeters and represents the modernized form of the Fighting Falcon.
The F-16C is the single-seat version of the famous American fighter, with digital avionics and, in the later blocks, a more powerful engine. Machines of these blocks serve with many air forces as multirole fighters capable of air combat as well as attack on ground targets. They can be recognized by the larger dorsal spine behind the cockpit and by their modernized equipment.
Finish the cockpit and the landing gear bays before closing the fuselage. Use thin cement on the plastic parts, sand the joins and treat the surface with a primer. Given the higher number of parts and the finer detail, patience is in order; apply the decals onto a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
