A detail set of two ejection seats for the two-seat F-16D in 1:48 scale from Eduard. The parts are made by direct 3D printing with finely captured upholstery, straps and firing handles. The set replaces the plastic seats in the base kit and is intended for models of the two-seat F-16D.
The F-16D is the two-seat training and combat version of the General Dynamics (later Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter. Thanks to the glazing the cockpit is plainly visible, so faithful seats markedly improve the overall impression of a finished model.
Separate the seats from the print supports, clean them up and degrease them. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). We recommend spraying a primer, shading the seats and bringing out the straps and safety features in contrasting colors. Protect your airways while sanding.
This is an add-on set, not a complete aircraft model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
