Special Hobby 1:48 - F-16D ejection seats

A resin set of ejection seats in 1:48 scale for a model of the two-seat F-16D fighter. The two-seat version has both cockpits in tandem, one behind the other, so the set contains seats for the front and the rear station. The castings capture the shell, the harness and the activation handles faithfully and replace the simplified plastic parts. The target kit is the Kinetic one.

Use and fitting

  • Wash the mold release agent off the seats and cut away the casting blocks.
  • They are bonded with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
  • Bring out the harness and the handles in color following period photographs.

  • Builders of two-seat versions of modern fighters in 1:48 scale.
  • Modelers who want detailed cockpits without laborious scratch work.

This is a standalone resin accessory, not a kit. The base Kinetic kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
