A replacement ejection seat for models of the F-35 Lightning II fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The F-35 Lightning II is a modern combat aircraft with a single-seat cockpit, built in three versions that differ in the way they take off and land. The ejection seat is the most prominent element of its cockpit: as soon as a modeler opens the canopy, a visitor to the display case is looking straight at it, and the difference between a simplified part and a well-worked replacement shows at first glance.
The set brings a replacement ejection seat in 1:48 scale. It takes the place of the part from the kit and is fitted into the cockpit before the fuselage is closed. The scope of the package, the number of parts and the recommended kits are given in the manufacturer's instructions. It is a small part, worked with tweezers.
The part is not polystyrene, so it is glued with cyanoacrylate glue. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little way from the seat and sand the rest; before painting, wash it in lukewarm water with dish soap and degrease it. Finish and paint the seat before you close the fuselage, or you will not reach it again.
The set suits anyone who builds the F-35 with an open cockpit and does not want a coarse kit part to spoil the result. Working with it is quick and needs no major changes to the model. It is an accessory to your own kit; paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
