Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American F-4 Phantom II fighter. It is neither a kit nor a model in its own right, but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color transitions on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage areas without tediously cutting tape by hand.
The F-4 Phantom II is an American two-seat twin-engined supersonic multirole fighter. In the 1960s and 1970s it was among the most widely used combat aircraft in the West, serving with the US Air Force, the US Navy and the Marine Corps and in dozens of countries. It excelled in performance, in heavy armament and in versatility as a fighter and as an attack aircraft alike.
Degrease the glazing of the canopy and let it dry. Lift the masks off the backing, lay them on the individual panels of the framing and press them into the edges. Mask the Phantom's multi-section canopy section by section. Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats. The masks for the wheels separate the tire from the disc. Once dry, peel the masks off at a shallow angle, so that fresh paint is not torn away.
The package contains masks only. The model, paints, glue and decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
