A photo-etched detail set Eduard F-4 exhaust 1:48 for sharpening the exhaust nozzles of the Phantom II fighter. An accessory, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched detail set from the manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale, meant for sharpening the exhaust nozzles of the F-4 Phantom II fighter. It is not a model and not a kit but an accessory replacing the simplified plastic nozzles with fine photo-etched parts carrying a faithful structure of the petals and the inner ring. The exact contents follow the instructions in the package.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was an American two-seat supersonic fighter and ground-attack aircraft driven by a pair of jet engines. Its exhaust nozzles with their moving petals are among the prominent details of the rear fuselage, which in plastic usually lack the fineness of the real structure.
The photo-etched parts are cut from the fret, rolled into a ring and glued with super glue. It is worth finishing the metal surface with metallic paints or pigments for the effect of heat-stressed metal. We recommend a dry fit against the plastic parts.
This is a detail accessory, not a model of an airplane. The base kit and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
