This detailed 3D-printed resin set holds an early 600 gallon auxiliary fuel tank in the all welded pattern together with a pylon, intended for models of the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale. The package holds one tank. It is an accessory, not an aircraft model.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II was a two-seat supersonic multirole fighter, one of the most widespread Western combat aircraft of the Cold War. For long-range missions it carried large drop tanks; their early pattern differed in shape and in the way it was made.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, cut them away from the print supports and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Check that the pylon seats against the wing. The smooth surface of the tank comes out best once primer and gloss varnish have gone on.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model are not included in the package.
