Resin rearview mirrors from Quickboost for the F-4 Phantom II in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a detail accessory.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed resin set of rearview mirrors for the cockpit of the American McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an aftermarket accessory from the Quickboost brand. The sharply cast mirrors replace the coarser plastic parts on the canopy frame and visibly sharpen the view into an open cockpit.
The F-4 Phantom II was a two-seat supersonic multi-role aircraft, one of the most widely used combat aircraft of the Cold War. It served with the US Air Force and Navy and with many allies. In the cockpit it carried several rearview mirrors on the canopy frame, which are clearly visible with the canopy open and are among its characteristic details.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts and carefully cut them from the casting blocks with a sharp knife, as they are small. Bond with a small amount of super glue (cyanoacrylate). Suggest the reflective surfaces with a gloss silver paint or a piece of mirror foil. Protect your airways while sanding and apply a primer before painting.
The accessory does not include the model itself, glue or paints. It is supplied as a resin casting for finishing an existing kit.
