This accessory set from Quickboost (the resin division of the Czech company Aires) is not a model but a set of resin replacement parts for models of the F-4B Phantom II fighter in 1:48 scale. It contains pylons with LAU-7 launch rails, on which AIM-9 Sidewinder air-to-air guided missiles were carried in reality.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II was a carrier fighter of the US Navy. The LAU-7 launch rails under the inner wing pylons look bare on a model without armament, and many kits simplify them. The resin castings offer a sharper and more accurate rendering that comes into its own especially in a build with the missiles in place.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent and carefully cut off the casting blocks. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with your airways protected. Spray the pylons with an airbrush before gluing them on and bring out the small detail with a wash.
An accessory set in resin, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the basic kit are not included in the package.
