3D-printed color interior decals for the F-4E in the early form with a slatted wing, 1:48 scale. The set is cut for the Meng kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The full version of the color decal with three-dimensional relief, printed on decal paper. Thanks to the raised surface, the instrument panels and the side consoles do not get lost under varnish the way they do when painted with a brush. The set matches the early production form of the aircraft with leading-edge slats added to the wing and is cut for the Meng kit in 1:48 scale.
The F-4E is a two-seat fighter with a pair of jet engines, told apart from the older versions by the extended nose with a built-in gun. The machines differed during production and upgrades both in the wing and in the equipment of the two cockpits, which is why interior sets are made separately for the early and the later form. With this family the form of the cockpits is the main guide to which set to buy.
Slide the decal onto a glossy base and at first only set it into position. Do not use a decal softener or a decal fixer, as they attack the printed resin and will spoil the element. Press the element with a soft brush from the center toward the edges, so that no air is left under it. If after drying it turns out that the decal has not seated into a recess, pierce the spot with the tip of a scalpel and press it down with a damp cotton swab. Once all the parts have seated, go over the interior with matte varnish and touch in the small detail.
