The cockpit set F-4G early in 1:48 scale from the workshop of Quinta Studio: three-dimensionally printed and colored cockpit equipment completed with resin parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
Quinta Studio has prepared worked-up cockpit equipment for builders of Phantoms in 1:48. The basis is a three-dimensionally printed and pre-colored surface applied on decal paper, to which, according to the name of the item, resin additions also belong. The set is tied to the early configuration of the F-4G version.
The F-4G came about by rebuilding the two-seat combat version of the Phantom into a specialized machine for the suppression of air defenses. Instead of a gun, a system of receivers locating transmitting radars went into the nose, and the second crew member operated the complex electronic warfare apparatus. The early form differed from the later one precisely in the extent of this equipment, so the difference between the two sets is a matter of the rear cockpit and its arrangement.
Wash the resin parts before use in warm water with detergent, so that the remains of the release agent disappear from them, and bond them with super glue. Sand the resin parts wet and protect your breathing while doing so. Put the whole interior together and try it dry before you close the fuselage, so that play between the halves does not take you by surprise afterward. Do not let decal softener near the printed areas - it would damage the printed resin.
What is on offer here is an improvement of the cockpit, not the aircraft itself. Get the kit separately.
