The reduced variant of the set from the manufacturer Quinta Studio, designated Small version in its name. Pre-colored 3D printed elements on decal paper replace flat decals and painting tiny instruments by hand. The scope is narrower than that of the full set. It is an add-on for a kit, not an aircraft model. The set is intended for the Modelsvit kit.
The F-82 Twin Mustang came about by joining two fuselages derived from the P-51 type with a common wing and stabilizer. The F-82G version was a night and all-weather configuration in which the right fuselage served as the radar operator's station. Machines of this version were deployed in the first months of the fighting in Korea. The individual night versions differed in radar equipment, which is why the manufacturer lists separate sets for them.
The elements are cut out one at a time, soaked briefly and transferred onto the plastic. The surface should be smooth, degreased and sprayed with gloss varnish. Pressure from a soft brush ensures that they settle into the relief; do not use a decal softener or setter, they will attack the printed resin. Because the model has two differently equipped cockpits, sort the elements out beforehand and try the seating dry. Finish the cockpits before you close the fuselages and fix the surface with flat varnish.
