A set of landing gear bay masking fillers (wheel bay plugs) from Omask in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit and not a model part but a modeling aid: soft springy foam fillers shaped exactly to the space of the landing gear bays of a particular F-86F Sabre jet fighter kit. They go into the open bays before spraying and protect their interior from overspray and unwanted coloring. The fillers are made for the shapes of the F-86F kit from Hasegawa.

Use

• Slide the foam fillers into the landing gear bays before spraying paint or clear coat.
• They keep overspray out of an interior that has already been finished.
• Once the paint has dried, the fillers simply come out, as the material is springy and gentle on the surface.
• The fillers are reusable.
