A set of seat belts from Eduard in the SPACE range for models of the Grumman F4F Wildcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. It combines three-dimensional 3D decals with steel etched parts, so the belts faithfully imitate the texture of the straps as well as the metal buckles and hardware.
Do not dip the 3D decal in water: moisten only the backing paper under it, lift it off with tweezers and fix it to the seat with PVA glue, then seal it with matte varnish. Moisten the paper with water alone, without a softener, which would damage the printed resin. Form the steel parts carefully before gluing and fix them with super glue, so that the belts hang naturally over the edges of the seat.
It is meant for modelers who want to add realistic belts to the cockpit of F4F Wildcat models in 1:48 scale quickly.
This is an accessory for a plastic model, not a kit on its own. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
