Black Dog 1:48 F-4J Phantom side electronics is a resin detail set of the external electronic equipment on the sides of the fuselage for models of the F-4J Phantom II fighter.

This is NOT a standalone airplane model but a resin detail set in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Black Dog. It holds cast parts of the external electronic and sensor equipment placed along the sides of the fuselage, which add to a model of the F-4J Phantom II fighter and make it more accurate. It is intended for F-4 Phantom II models.
The F-4 Phantom II is a two-seat twin-engine multirole fighter, one of the most widespread combat aircraft of its era. The F-4J version served with the US Navy and carried modernized avionics; the characteristic external antennas and covers along the sides of the fuselage differed from version to version.
First wash the fine resin parts in lukewarm soapy water on account of the mold release residue. Cut the casting blocks off carefully with a knife and sand the small surfaces with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the small antennas and covers separately and fit them only at the end of the build so that they do not get damaged.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is an accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
