The carrier fighter Fairey Fulmar Mk.II 1:48, colored interior details from 3D printing, which Quinta Studio supplies on a paper carrier. The smaller extent of the set aims at the most visible parts of both cabins.
Responsibility details are not available.
The accessory transfers to the model layered and already colored details whose carrier is decal paper. The modeler thus gets legible instruments, belts and side panels without embarking on the patient coloring of millimeter-sized areas. The designation of the smaller extent in the name means that the set covers above all what is visible under an open canopy.
The Fairey Fulmar came out of the conversion of a light bomber design into a carrier fighter for the Fleet Air Arm. A Rolls-Royce Merlin provided the power, the armament consisted of machine guns in the wing, and the second man in the rear cabin served as the navigator. That is exactly what made it a machine with a long range over an empty sea, even if slower than its land-based counterparts. The Mk.II received a more powerful engine and a lightened airframe. Fulmars covered the convoys to Malta and were among the most successful British carrier fighters of their day.
Two separate cabins mean twice the visible area, so work in small units and let each piece settle. Release the paper in lukewarm water, blot the excess moisture away with an absorbent cloth and press the part down with a soft brush. A decal softener does not belong among the tools, it would attack the printed resin. Leave the canopy frames open until the end of the build; the finished interior can then be lit and photographed.
Neither the kit nor paints are supplied with the accessory, they are bought separately.
