Responsibility details are not available.
The Fiat CR-42 is an Italian single-engine biplane fighter with a radial engine, taken into service at the end of the 1930s. Although the biplane concept had by then already been overtaken by all-metal monoplanes, the CR-42 still got into the fighting of the Second World War and served outside Italy as well. For a modeler it is a rewarding subject: the arrangement of struts and bracing, the fixed landing gear and the open cockpit give a finished model a character you will not find on later fighters.
A decal sheet in 1:48 scale, marked as part 1. The particular machines, their national insignia and the additional lettering that the sheet covers are given in the instructions enclosed by the manufacturer; the placement of the individual items on a model is also governed by those.
With decal sheets the usual route is the wet one: the item is cut out, dipped for a few seconds, left to rest and slid off the backing paper onto the model. Before you soak the sheet, check in the instructions whether it is a self-adhesive form, because a self-adhesive film that has been soaked is ruined for good. With a waterslide decal it pays to cover the surface under it with gloss varnish first, so that no air bubbles form under the item. A softener will help a decal adhere to rivets and pressings. Once dry, the whole model is evened out with matte or semi-gloss varnish.
The package contains the decal sheet. The aircraft model, paints, varnish and softener are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
