Eduard 1:48 FM-2 Wildcat gun barrels PRINT is a 3D printed resin set of machine gun barrels for models of the FM-2 Wildcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This 3D printed resin accessory from the Czech maker Eduard replaces the barrels of the machine guns on a model of the FM-2 Wildcat fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model but a small detail set that raises the fidelity of the armament.
Thin and accurate barrels from direct 3D printing replace the thicker and less detailed parts from the base kit. The result is a finer and more realistic rendering of the machine gun armament in the leading edges of the wings. The parts are fitted in place of the original plastic barrels.
Separate the very small resin parts carefully from the carriers so as not to break them and wash off any print residue. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) applied in a small amount. For painting, a primer and a metallic shade are enough, with a fine accent if you like.
The set does not contain an aircraft model, paints or glue. It serves as an accessory to a plastic kit.
