Moorland Grass Tufts 6 mm are Paint Forge grass tufts in the muted shade of moorland growth, for dioramas and bases.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a scenic material, not a kit or an accessory to be glued onto a model. The tufts are placed on a figure base, on a diorama board or on the terrain around a vehicle model and give a scene a volume that flat scatter never creates. The figure 6 mm from the name corresponds to the length of the fibers, so this is taller, densely reading growth.
The name Moorland refers to moor and peat growth, that is a muted, rather earthy position of green; check the particular tone against the picture on the packaging. Such a shade suits northern and foothill scenes, muddy roadsides, abandoned vehicle positions and the bases of historical figures. The best result comes from mixing two or three close shades.
Fix the tuft with a drop of PVA or with cyanoacrylate, hold it for a moment and let it dry. Break up the regular outline with scissors, comb the fibers apart with your fingers and work some of the tufts partly into the terrain compound, so that not everything sits on the surface. Complete the transitions with static grass, fine gravel and pigment at the roots. Do not flood the fibers with thick paint or a heavy coat of varnish, as they will lose their texture.
This is a scenic material for building terrain, not a model. Glue, paints and a base are not included, unless stated otherwise.
