Eduard Brassin 1:48 GBU-24 bomb is a resin set of the American laser-guided bomb for plastic models of aircraft. It is not a model but an accessory with ordnance.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set from the Brassin line of the Czech manufacturer Eduard is not a model of the aircraft but a detail resin accessory with ordnance. It holds GBU-24 laser-guided bombs with a body drawn out in detail, control fins and a guidance section; the optical cover of the seeker head tends to be cast from clear resin. It tends to be filled out with decal markings. The set does not hold the kit of the aircraft.
The GBU-24 is an American laser-guided bomb from the Paveway III family. It is placed in the bomb bays or under the wings of a number of aircraft, for example the F-15, the F-16, the F/A-18, the F-14 or the F-117; it serves for precise strikes on ground targets.
Wash the resin parts clean of the mold release agent, cut them off the casting blocks and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Leave the clear cover of the seeker head unclouded; the body of the bomb stands out once a uniform base has been laid on and the panels gently brought out.
This is a supplementary resin set, not a model in its own right. Glue, paints and the kit of the aircraft are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
