About product

Airbrush masks for the canopy of the Grumman AF-2/AF-3 Guardian, 1:48 (MH models)

A set of self-adhesive airbrush masks for the canopy glazing, cut for the kit of the Grumman AF-2/AF-3 Guardian carrier aircraft from Special Hobby in 1:48 scale. The masks follow the shape of the frames of the busy canopy exactly, so once sprayed over you get sharp edges without slow cutting of tape.

Use

  • First free the glazing of grease and dust.
  • Transfer the pieces of the mask onto the frames and press them down carefully, especially in the corners.
  • Cover the free areas of the panes with tape or liquid mask.
  • Spray over with the frame color and then take the mask off carefully.

Who the set is for

  • Modelers who want a cleanly framed glazed cockpit.
  • Builders of American carrier aircraft in 1:48 scale.

It is not paint or glue — these are masks. Paints are not included in the package.
