The Grumman F-14A Tomcat instrument panels 1:48 set from Red Fox Studio fills out the front and the rear station of the model.
Responsibility details are not available.
These cockpit panels from the Red Fox Studio brand fill out the front and the rear station of the model with a rendering of the instruments, keyboards and screens. They are laid down as a decal, adhere to the surface and do away with lengthy picking out of tiny dials. This variant is prepared for the Italeri kit; the brand also makes a comparable set for the Great Wall Hobby model.
The Tomcat served for decades as the main carrier fighter of the US Navy. Besides defending the group it also flew reconnaissance tasks with a pod and later became a bomb carrier. The A rendition used earlier powerplants, which called for a sensitive hand when the throttle was pushed sharply at low altitude. The machine became an icon thanks also to the cinema screen. Many aircraft went through equipment changes during their service, so individual examples differed in cockpit fit depending on the year and on the parent squadron.
Paint the cockpit tub first and let it cure, and only then comes the turn of the panel. Seat it without pulling sideways and press it down evenly. Leave the small side consoles as the last step, otherwise you will damage them while working. It is a good idea to let a finished interior rest for at least an hour before you close the fuselage.
