Parts produced by three-dimensional printing, which are mounted on the oleo legs of the main landing gear of the Sea Fury. The package is reckoned for two models, so it will also suit anyone building a pair of machines in different finishes or wanting to keep one set in reserve.
The Sea Fury was the culmination of Hawker's line of development: a Bristol Centaurus radial, a clean fuselage and performance at the limit of what piston power allowed. The Fleet Air Arm deployed it over Korea, where machines from the deck managed to shoot down even a jet MiG-15, which remained a singular entry in the statistics of air warfare. It lasted in the service of a number of countries long after carrier aviation had moved on to jet types.
The printed parts carry thin supports. Remove them with nippers and trim the remnants carefully with a scalpel; the surface then only needs a pass with the finest abrasive paper and degreasing. Given the size, have tweezers ready and dose the glue with a pin or a wire, because a drop straight from the bottle would flood the surrounding detail.
The rest of the landing gear and the aircraft itself come from the kit, which the package does not replace.
