A fine abrasive stick from the British brand Albion Alloys, which you can tell apart in a set by its white color. Unlike the coarse gray variant it removes almost no material; instead it smooths out the marks left by coarser sanding and prepares the surface so that primer and clear coat sit on it without visible scratches. The flexible core holds its shape and works well on rounded surfaces and along panel lines. The sticks are sold individually and the unit of sale is a single stick.
You get the best results by working from coarse to fine grit: first level the flash, casting blocks and joints with the coarse gray stick, and only then smooth the sanding marks with the fine white one. Work with light pressure and keep clearing the dust from the surface, so that you can check it easily by eye against the light. Degrease the part before spraying primer, otherwise the fine sanding dust stays in the pores. A dusty stick only needs tapping out or rinsing and leaving to dry.
Even fine sanding creates dust. Work in a ventilated area, and with respiratory protection when working with resin and fillers.
