Montex 1:48 Heinkel He-111H-6 is a masking set for the outside and the inside of the glazing, with masks for national insignia added. It is an accessory for a kit, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
According to the name, the set includes masks for the outside and the inside of the canopy framing, and masks for national insignia as well. The inside masks are a detail that makes a big difference: the glazing frames then look right even when you look into the cockpit, because the paint reaches both sides of the part. It is not a kit — the masks are stuck onto the parts of a model you already own.
The Heinkel He 111 was a German twin-engine bomber with a distinctive fully glazed nose and no separate windscreen. The H-6 version was among the most widespread and was used, besides conventional bombing, to carry aerial torpedoes. The rounded glazed nose with its many irregular panes is the most demanding part of the whole build for a modeler.
Apply the inside masks before the glazing is glued into the fuselage and spray the frames in the interior color. Only then seat the part, stick the outside masks on and go on with the primer. Use the insignia masks only on dried camouflage — paint sprayed through a template holds better than a decal and there is no risk of silvering or of a visible edge of carrier film. Spray with heavily thinned paint and in several light coats, or it will creep under.
The package holds masking templates only. The model, paints and decals are not part of it.
