Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of a German single-seat fighter biplane of the 1930s in 1:48 scale from Roden. The model has a finely engraved texture, a broken-down interior and clear parts. As with every biplane, count on rigging (stretching the bracing wires between the wings), which will give the build a realistic look.
The Heinkel He 51 was one of the first fighters of the rebuilt Luftwaffe in the 1930s. It was a single-seat biplane of all-metal construction with fabric covering. The He 51B version had a strengthened structure and could carry light armament under the fuselage. Machines of this type were also committed in the Spanish Civil War, where they soon ran up against the limits of their capability against more modern opponents.
Use thin cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the interior before closing the fuselage, and mask the small glazing. The key is careful seating of the upper wing and then the rigging; the wires can be imitated with stretched filament or a special thread. Apply primer before varnishing; for period schemes, quality acrylic or enamel paints work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
