This resin set precisely casts the control stick for the cockpit of a Polikarpov I-153 Chaika model in 1:48 scale. It is a detail accessory to a kit, not a stand-alone model. The fine casting shows details that the plastic part from the base mold usually lacks.
The Polikarpov I-153 Chaika was a Soviet biplane with a gull-shaped upper wing and retractable landing gear, deployed at the turn of the 1930s and 1940s. The interior of the open cockpit is clearly visible on a model, so small details such as the control stick tell strongly.
Wash the part free of mold release agent, cut it from the casting block and clean it up. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Recommended for modelers with experience of resin accessories.
The detail accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
