The photo-etched set FineMolds 1:48 Hayabusa/Oscar is for the detailed sharpening up of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa fighter. It is not a model but an accessory to a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set from the Japanese manufacturer FineMolds holds photo-etched parts for the detailed improvement of a model of the Japanese Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa fighter, Allied code name Oscar, in 1:48 scale. It is not a standalone aircraft model but an accessory meant for a matching plastic kit. The photo-etch brings the fine elements that injection-molded plastic cannot capture, above all parts of the interior and small details of the airframe.
The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa, the peregrine falcon, was a Japanese army fighter of the Second World War. It stood out for superb agility and was one of the most widespread Japanese army fighters. The Allies gave it the code name Oscar.
The photo-etched parts are cut from the fret with a sharp knife and bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Make the bends in a bending tool or over the edge of a ruler. The set sharpens up and refines the details of the base kit; we recommend painting the small parts only once they are glued on.
This is an add-on set, not a model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
