About product

IMAM Ro.44 canopy glazing masks 1:48 (MH models)

A set of painting (airbrush) masks from MH models for a model of the Italian IMAM Ro.44 fighter floatplane in 1:48 scale. This is not a model but a painting aid: the pre-cut self-adhesive masks follow the shape of the canopy framing, so the frames can be sprayed cleanly and the glazed areas stay clear.

Use

  • Stick the pre-cut pieces onto the glazing and the canopy framing
  • Spray the paint with an airbrush, with nothing seeping under the edge of the mask
  • Peel the masks off once the paint has dried to reveal cleanly outlined frames
  • Suitable for both an airbrush and a spray can

Who the set is for

The accessory will appeal to builders of the IMAM Ro.44 in 1:48 scale who want to save the time spent outlining the frames by hand and to reach sharp paint transitions. The IMAM Ro.44 was an Italian single-seat fighter derivative of the Ro.43 floatplane, carried on a float.

This is a painting aid, not a model in its own right. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
