Eduard J2M Raiden 1:48 is a colored self-adhesive photo-etched set for detailing the cockpit of the Japanese Mitsubishi J2M Raiden interceptor.
Responsibility details are not available.
A colored self-adhesive photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:48 scale, intended for detailing the Japanese Mitsubishi J2M Raiden fighter. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for a plastic kit. The set, from the range of simplified colored sets, focuses above all on the cockpit: it brings a color-printed instrument panel, seat belts and other fine elements that give the cockpit realistic depth.
The Mitsubishi J2M Raiden (Allied code name Jack) was a Japanese naval interceptor of the Second World War, designed with the emphasis on speed and rate of climb for defense against high-altitude bombers. Its robust airframe and powerful engine made it an atypical counterpart to the agile but lighter Japanese fighters.
Peel the colored self-adhesive parts off and place them in position; line them up with the plastic parts, which sometimes need thinning down. Bend the fine etched elements accurately and fix them with cyanoacrylate glue. Finish and fit the cockpit before closing the fuselage up.
This is a photo-etched detailing set, not an aircraft model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
