A display base for a 1:48 model with the Japanese flag is a printed acrylic board 410 x 270 mm and 3 mm thick. It serves as a firm, flat base under finished hardware in a display case.
Responsibility details are not available.
A printed board of acrylic glass 3 mm thick carries the motif of the Japanese national flag over its whole area. The size of 410 x 270 mm and the weight of 410 g give a rigid base on which a finished kit will not slip and which will not warp even after years in a display case. Behind the manufacture stands the Ukrainian brand Kelik.
The Hinomaru, that is the sun disc, is a white field with a red circle in the middle. It has appeared as a symbol of the country since the 19th century, while the law formally confirmed it as the national flag only in 1999. Thanks to it modelers can communicate the country of origin of a machine without a single label.
In this scale the area will take a single-seat fighter aircraft even with its flaps extended, and room is left for a crew or an ammunition cart. The smooth surface photographs well and lightly reflects the underside of the fuselage, which suits aviation shots. Wipe the dust off it with a soft cloth; abrasive sponges and solvents do not belong on acrylic.
This is a base on its own. A model, figures and accessories are not supplied with it.
